When the city stays up, the creatures of the night take notice.
During the World Cup, Athens turns nocturnal. From a tree above the city, an unlikely group of spectators watches humans lose sleep, shout at screens and surrender to football — reversing the roles and turning the animals into the wisest observers of the night.
01 / The Creative Challenge
The challenge went far beyond creating believable creatures. Every owl, bat and bird had to speak, react and deliver comedy without losing its physical realism — matching dialogue through precise lip sync, eye direction, facial micro-reactions and carefully controlled timing.
02 / The Contribution of THREEDEERS
THREEDEERS combined live-action production with AI, CGI, VFX and character animation to build a performance-driven world around the filmed material. From photoreal creature development and environment integration to lip sync, facial performance and comic timing, every character was crafted to feel physically present while delivering dialogue with personality and precision.
