THE IDEA
Making the impossible feel completely natural.
A surreal idea enters an ordinary working day: a man becomes the “elephant in the room.” The film turns a familiar expression into a living character, using humour and visual storytelling to make a complex financial problem instantly relatable.
01 / The Creative Challenge
The challenge was not simply to create a photoreal CG elephant, but to give it a recognisably human performance. Expression, eye movement, body language and lip sync had to carry the personality of the actor while preserving the anatomy, weight and physical presence of a real animal — all within a completely believable live-action environment.
02 / The Contribution of THREEDEERS
THREEDEERS brought the elephant to life through detailed character development, animation and seamless live-action integration. Human facial performance was translated into the CG character and carefully refined in 3D, balancing anatomical realism with subtle human behaviour and precise lip sync. Every movement, expression, interaction and lighting detail was crafted to make an impossible character feel naturally present in the scene.
